According to the report \u2018Outlook for the Consumer Goods Supply Chain 2025\u2019 presented by Aecoc this week in Madrid, service levels in logistics and transport have declined significantly over the last year, causing concern among manufacturers and distributors.<\/p>\n<p>The study reveals that only 51% of manufacturers and 33% of distributors are currently meeting their service level targets, compared to 70% and 45%, respectively, last year. This decline highlights the growing pressure on the sector&#8217;s supply chains and underscores the need for new strategies to maintain efficiency and competitiveness.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Supply chain priorities and challenges<\/strong><br \/>The report highlights that profitability remains the top priority for supply chains in the consumer goods sector, followed by the adoption of advanced technologies, particularly generative artificial intelligence, the implementation of sustainability measures and, fourthly, the improvement of service levels.<\/p>\n<p>However, there are significant barriers to achieving these objectives. Among the main challenges identified are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Difficulty in finding suitable and available transport.<\/li>\n<li>Work absenteeism, which affects 81% of the companies surveyed, with an increase from 5% to 10% in the m&#8230;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f3f178c elementor-widget
