Este fen\u00f3meno, impulsado por el aumento de las compras online y sus devoluciones, ha dado lugar a un crecimiento significativo de la log\u00edstica inversa, una disciplina clave para optimizar los procesos y que como consecuencia ha tenido la creaci\u00f3n de empresas especializadas en este tipo de operativa log\u00edstica.<\/p><p>La log\u00edstica inversa consiste en el retorno de productos desde los consumidores hacia los fabricantes o distribuidores, ya sea para devoluciones, reacondicionamiento, reciclaje o disposici\u00f3n adecuada. Este proceso permite recuperar valor, reducir costos y minimizar el impacto ambiental, siendo incluso una cuesti\u00f3n que tiene un peso muy alto sobre la rentabilidad de las tiendas online. Adem\u00e1s, mejora la experiencia del cliente al ofrecer soluciones r\u00e1pidas y eficientes para gestionar devoluciones, que es la otra vertiente de la log\u00edstica inversa.<\/p><p>En t\u00e9rminos econ\u00f3micos, el mercado global de log\u00edstica inversa ha mostrado un notable crecimiento. Seg\u00fan informes recientes, su valor alcanz\u00f3 los 533,18 mil millones de d\u00f3lares en 2023, y se espera que crezca a una tasa anual del 6,55%, alcanzando los 879,78 mil millones de d\u00f3lares en 2031. Este aumento est\u00e1 directamente relacionado con el auge del comercio electr\u00f3nico, que genera vol\u00famenes masivos de devoluciones y obliga a las empresas a replantear sus estrategias log\u00edsticas.<\/p><p>Las empresas de transporte y log\u00edstica han respondido a esta demanda adoptando tecnolog\u00edas avanzadas y pr\u00e1cticas sostenibles. Soluciones como la inteligencia artificial y el blockchain est\u00e1n optimizando los procesos de trazabilidad y gesti\u00f3n de devoluciones, permitiendo un seguimiento en tiempo real de los productos y decisiones m\u00e1s informadas sobre su reutilizaci\u00f3n o reciclaje, o incluso sobre la idoneidad de la devoluci\u00f3n o la detecci\u00f3n de consumidores con perfiles muy altos de devoluci\u00f3n.<\/p><p>Otro factor clave en la evoluci\u00f3n de la log\u00edstica inversa es la creciente tendencia hacia la omnicanalidad.
