Tampoco es un problema sintonizar cualquier programa de radio o canal de televisi\u00f3n de un pa\u00eds alejado al nuestro. Nuestro d\u00eda a d\u00eda se sustenta en la conectividad global, aunque sus facilitadores ni siquiera est\u00e9n en la Tierra: <a href=\"https:\/\/elmercantil.com\/2022\/04\/02\/las-arterias-submarinas-de-las-telecomunicaciones\/\">o bien est\u00e1n en el mar<\/a>\u00a0o bien orbitan alrededor del planeta. Los sat\u00e9lites se encargan de recibir y enviar se\u00f1ales de televisi\u00f3n, telefon\u00eda o internet, pero tambi\u00e9n sobrevuelan nuestro planeta con fines cient\u00edficos, educativos o incluso militares. Estos artilugios juegan un papel decisivo en la carrera espacial y cada vez m\u00e1s empresas se especializan en la llamada log\u00edstica satelital.<\/p><p>Si los cohetes vivieron su \u00e9poca dorada durante los a\u00f1os 50 y 60, la edad de la informaci\u00f3n ha impulsado el lanzamiento de sat\u00e9lites. Seg\u00fan el \u00edndice actualizado por la Oficina de Naciones Unidas para Asuntos del Espacio Exterior (Unoosa), un total de 8.837 sat\u00e9lites est\u00e1n en \u00f3rbita, de los cuales 1.936 se han registrado en 2021 y 29 son espa\u00f1oles. \u201cCada vez hay m\u00e1s actores en un sector que est\u00e1 viviendo un crecimiento exponencial\u201d, se\u00f1ala la consejera delegada y cofundadora de la compa\u00f1\u00eda gallega especializada en sat\u00e9lites Uarx Space, Yanina Hallak, porque \u201chay m\u00e1s empresas privadas que quieren enviar
