  • It will take place on 24 February from 10.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m., with a packed agenda and networking opportunities for all attendees.

Madrid, 17 February 2021. On 24 February, Easyfairs Iberia will once again bring together its community around new content and networking at the first Digital Tech Congress organised jointly by MetalMadrid, Empack and Logistics & Automation. Under the title Evolution or Revolution? Together towards intelligent automation, and sponsored by Deloitte, the event will serve as a meeting and training point for all industry professionals who wish to keep up to date with the latest developments in this area.

The Congress will be attended by Rafael Lucena Chacón, Coordinator of the Subdirectorate General of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Enabling Technologies of the Secretary of State for Digitalisation and Artificial Intelligence. With him, we will learn about the measures brought about by the implementation of the National Artificial Intelligence Strategy, which will mobilise a public investment of 600 million euros over the next two years.

On the other hand, Luis González Gugel, partner in charge of Deloitte Robotics, Álvaro Esteve, director of Digital Industries Factory Automation at Siemens Spain and Rafael Tamames, Keynote Speaker of the conference, and expert in digital transformation and entrepreneurship, will be taking part, who will show us the world of automation from an open attitude, but also from the critical view that these changes pose to us in the construction of a better society.

The congress will also feature major brands, such as HP 3D Printing, which will present the latest advances in additive manufacturing automation, with Bosch Rexroth and automation based on openness as a key factor in the factory of the future, and with a panel discussion, moderated by Alex Salvador, Manager of the Spanish Robotics Association (AER), which will bring together major players such as CCTV Center, ABB, KUKA and Ingenersun.

Throughout the day, attendees will be able to discuss and interact through the different tools provided by the platform, attend more than 4 hours of content and will also have the opportunity to network both with the companies participating in the agenda and with other attendees at the conference.

Registration for the congress is free and can be done through the following link or through the websites of MetalMadrid, Empack and Logistics & Automation.
