ESG Awards

We reward the most innovative and responsible initiatives in the sector

In 2025, we launched a new initiative that reflects our commitment to a more sustainable future: the Best ESG Exhibitor Initiative Award, which was presented by Paula Ruiz, founder of Trece Matices, a branding studio with over eight years’ experience in creating brands with nuances that transform identity and purpose.

This award is given to exhibiting companies that lead the way through their responsible practices in environmental sustainability, social impact and corporate governance.

New for this year is a category within these awards: Recognition of the Best ESG Initiative in the Industry, which aims to highlight initiatives by major brands that are working to make their products, services or processes more sustainable for people, the company and/or the environment.

We’ll tell you more soon, but in the meantime, discover the initiatives that were finalists last year and find out which project won, and relive the ceremony through these images:

What is ESG?

ESG stands for Environmental, Social & Governance. These are three key pillars that define how a company acts responsibly towards its environment:

It refers to how the company cares for the planet:

  • Reduces its carbon footprint
  • Manages waste efficiently
  • Promotes the use of clean energy
  • Protects natural resources

It has to do with how the company relates to people:

  • It cares for the physical and mental health of its teams.
  • It promotes diversity, equality, and work-life balance.
  • It is involved with local communities.
  • It protects the privacy and rights of customers and employees.

Discuss how the company is organized and makes decisions ethically and transparently:

  • Best practices in leadership and management
  • Clear accountability and compliance policies
  • Transparency in information
  • Commitment to corporate values
