Google Cloud lanza una herramienta de IA para la previsión de demanda
Google Cloud lanza Vertex AI Forecast, capaz de crear un modelo preciso para 1 millón de combinaciones de referencias/tienda en tan solo 12 horas.
Con el objetivo de ayudar a los retailers a optimizar la tarea de aprovisionamiento, Google ha lanzado una nueva herramienta basada en inteligencia artificial que permite obtener previsiones en tiempo real sobre demanda, planificación de ofertas y, en general, todos aquellos factores que puedan influir en el tráfico de ventas en los canales online y físico.
Según ha recordado Craig Wiley, director de gestión de producto de IA y soluciones sectoriales de Google Cloud, para el sector Retail la precisión en las previsiones de la demanda ha sido siempre un factor clave para la buena planificación del negocio, la gestión de stocks, la racionalización de la logística y la satisfacción del cliente. “Unas previsiones exactas son esenciales para entregar el producto adecuado en el lugar adecuado y en la cantidad correcta”.
