Spider (Sky-Shuttle) Case-Handling Robot
The Spider (Sky-Shuttle) Case-Handling Robot represents a transformative innovation in warehouse automation, redefining how goods are stored, retrieved, and transported in modern warehouses. Unlike conventional case-level solutions, the Spider, with its flexible winch-based lifting mechanism, achieves high-speed case handling in narrow aisles without the need for a lift. This compact and lightweight robot maximizes space utilization with its ability to retrieve cases within 50 kg at heights from 160 mm to 12,000 mm. Drawing inspiration from the shuttle systems and OEM systems, the Spider Sky-Shuttle maximizes overhead space utilization and supports irregular warehouse layouts (such as L-shaped, N-shaped, and T-shaped), making it highly adaptable even in unconventional environments. This adaptability ensures it seamless integration into all kinds of operational scenarios, offering unparalleled support for both automated and human-robot hybrid workflows. Spider’s multi-robot collaboration modes enable it to handle up to 1,000 cases per hour in a single aisle.
