Identification of barcodes, 2D codes and OCR:

The DWS system identifies all of the relevant information and codes, on up to six sides of the product, quickly and with a very high reading rate. This includes both handwritten and printed address information, along with barcodes, 2D codes and customer-specific codes. The system can recognise characters and codes even under transparent, corrugated and reflective plastic films. It also has the capacity to store images and the data associated with them.

Measuring volume and weight:

The volume and weight of the item being analysed makes it possible to invoice automatically, thereby speeding up the return on investment. In addition, the data generated is the basis for optimising the logistics and loading processes.
