OMNISTORE - Innovative order fulfillment concept for grocery retail

TGW has developed an innovative logistics concept for retail food commerce. OmniStore turns stores into small order processing centers. Besides the stores, order preparation zones are created for the quick and efficient automated picking of goods. Clients can place their orders online or purchase the goods in the store. Pick-up counters 24/7 allow customers to pick their orders up 24 hours a day.

With OmniStore, companies benefit from fast, flexible and cost-efficient omni-channel order fulfillment – using the existing network of shops. The concept can be implemented from a store size of about 10,760 square feet – while staffing levels remain the same.
