78% of the projects presented in the IDI grant line for the manufacturing industry are focused on sustainability plans.
The call for aid to the ‘IDI’ line, for innovation and sustainability plans in the manufacturing industry, has received 253 applications from 223 companies, which include investments worth a total of 423.3 million euros, requesting more than 194 million euros in the form of refundable loans and nearly 73 million euros in the form of subsidies, as reported by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism.
By lines, 198 applications have been submitted in the sustainability line and 55 in the R&D&I line, with 390.9 million euros and 32.4 million euros in budget to be executed, respectively.
In terms of regional distribution, companies from fourteen autonomous communities have applied, with the distribution by number of projects submitted and budget to be executed being as follows:
