POLYPAL equips the new warehouse for mobile health logistics of Servicio Móvil

Given the constant growth of business in recent years and the increase in demand for services from its customers, the logistics operator Servicio Móvil needed a new facility in the centre of Madrid, with the aim of maximising storage capacity for its customers and reducing goods delivery times.
For this purpose, POLYPAL installed on a logistics surface area of 15,200 m2:
Conventional narrow aisle pallet racking:

• Storage capacity: 22,520 pallets
• Unit load: EURO pallet 800 x 1200 mm
• Maximum load: 1,000 kg/unit
• Maximum rack storage capacity: 19,600 pallets.
• Racking with narrow aisle configuration for articulated forklifts to adapt to the handling equipment with which the customer operates.
• Protections and safety:
• Mesh panel enclosures to prevent goods falling into adjacent work and pedestrian areas.
• Protections on all exposed uprights and side racking defences at the ends of the racking alignments and in the evacuation tunnels.

Due to the need for Field Service to have the installation completed in record time, POLYPAL carried out the assembly of the installation in different phases and by work zones to allow the start of activity in the warehouse as soon as possible, complying with all the requirements in terms of occupational risk prevention.
