The platform's hardware core, the CtrlX Core, is based on a high-performance multi-core processor (8 cores/64-bit) and can be installed in a controller, industrial PC, or drive, allowing users to choose to build their own. A new generation of multi-core processors that provides sufficient computing power for all automation tasks, from PLC and Motion applications to CNC and robotics.
