Mechanical Design and Mobile Robotics Technician

We are looking for a Mechanical Design and Mobile Robotics Technician to join our team in Valladolid. You will work on requirements analysis, 3D design, technical drawings and documentation, support for manufacturing and assembly, and the integration, configuration, commissioning and maintenance of AMR/AGV mobile robots.

We are seeking candidates with vocational training in Mechanical Manufacturing Design, Industrial Mechatronics, Automation and Industrial Robotics, or a similar field. Knowledge of 3D design, mechanical manufacturing and technical drawing interpretation is required, together with a proactive, independent and problem-solving mindset.

Industrial experience and knowledge of automation, electrical systems or robotics will be valued. A driving licence and availability to travel are required.

Previous experience in mobile robotics is not essential.

What will you do?

Mechanical design and technical office

-Analyse the technical and functional requirements of each project.
-Design and develop mechanical solutions for robots and installations.
-Create 3D designs using CAD tools.
-Prepare assembly, detail and manufacturing drawings.
-Prepare technical documentation for supplier quotation requests.
-Provide support during the manufacturing and assembly of solutions.
-Contribute to the standardisation and continuous improvement of mechanical solutions.

Mobile robotics

-Integrate and commission AMR/AGV mobile robots.
-Configure and parameterise robots, navigation systems and fleet management systems.
-Diagnose and resolve issues during implementation and commissioning.
-Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on mobile robots and associated equipment.
-Support the validation of installation safety requirements.
-Prepare technical documentation and intervention reports.

What are we looking for?

-Higher Vocational Training qualification in Mechanical Manufacturing Design, Industrial Mechatronics, Automation and Industrial Robotics, or a similar field.
-Knowledge of 3D design and technical drawing preparation.
-Knowledge of mechanical manufacturing and technical drawing interpretation.
-Experience in industrial environments will be valued.
-Knowledge of automation, electrical systems or robotics will be valued.
-A practical, proactive, independent and problem-solving mindset.
-Ability to analyse problems and propose solutions.
-An interest in learning and developing professionally in the field of mobile robotics.
-Driving licence and availability to travel during integration projects.
