We develop and manufacture intelligent warehouse systems using the latest solutions in digitalization, software, automation and robotics. Our company founder Günter Knapp was a visionary inventor, and this remains part of our corporate culture today. His ideas, which solved many of the problems faced by businesses in the fifties, are also still with us. Günter Knapp started the business in Graz in 1952, with just two employees. Since then, the company has grown to become an international group of 7,700 employees with 49 locations all over the world.

With our innovative technologies, we offer everything that companies need for efficient warehouse automation – all from a single source. Despite our size and international orientation, we are still a family-owned business at heart and are proud of our positive corporate culture. Our Autonomous Mobile Robot for Pallet Transport. The demands on production and distribution are high. Pick-it-Easy Robot

Pick-it-Easy Robot is the right choice, not just for automatic single-item picking but also for the induction of articles in pre-picked batch containers into overhead or sorting systems. Various grippers, AI-based object recognition – the so-called Covariant Brain – and grip point specification mean that the Pick-it-Easy Robot can handle a broad article range, for many applications in diverse sectors. Even when goods have reflective surfaces, the Pick-it-Easy Robot knows exactly where to hold them and gently places them exactly where they belong. Machine learning means that the system is continuously learning and improving itself.

Runpick

Fully automatic full-case picking in food retail. RUNPICK – short for Robotic Universal Picker – takes store delivery up to a whole new level. Specially developed for food retail, the system processes and palletizes large handling units for brick and mortar retail fully automatically. The robot is capable of store-friendly picking and handles both fresh and shelf-stable goods on pallets and roll containers. Multiple item picking allows several items to be deposited at the same time in just one cycle, leading to a considerable increase of performance.

KiSoft Genomix

Efficient Automation Thanks to Well-maintained Master Data. To function efficiently, automation solutions need perfectly maintained master data. This is the only way automated items can be handled efficiently and without errors. Today, retailers and manufacturers only provide little information about their products. Any further attributes are usually recorded manually, entailing high costs and great effort. Subjective assessments complicate the situation further.
