How to increase picking efficiency by 400%?

A high-density warehouse
Bergfreunde's logistics at its warehouse south of Stuttgart now relies on 80 robots traversing the 3,000m2 system, moving 94,000 buckets stacked on 16 levels, with a total of 21 ports available to move items in and out of the warehouse. The system currently allows up to 200,000 items to be processed per week, which means that, on average, Bergfreunde operators now complete 175 picks per hour. The magnitude of this improvement is valued much more taking into account the data of picks that were made before Element Logic installed the AutoStore system: 45 per hour.
