Sodeca, a manufacturer of industrial ventilation systems, has announced the implementation of the AutoStore 425 mm bin system with R5+ robots supplied by Smartlog to automate its logistics operations during its production process at its Girona site.
This robotic system, focused on efficient bin storage, is designed to address critical challenges in Sodeca's production, such as managing small materials and optimising the limited space in its industrial facilities.
The decision to adopt the AutoStore solution responded to the manufacturer's need to streamline its production process and maximise operational efficiency. The company faced challenges in both efficient component storage and space management, which made Smartlog's proposed solution align with its short-term goals.
