Addresses that cannot be read by the machine or are not fully identified are sent over a fast network to video coding workstations. An image, or part of an image containing the label, is sent to a video coding workstation. Here, trained staff can rotate or zoom the image and enter data, either online or offline. Online video coding means that the data is added immediately and the item is ready for sorting. With offline video coding, the data is added at a later stage.
