SL-100 O-RGV – OVERHEAD INTRALOGISTICS SYSTEM FOR LIGHT LOADS

The SL-100 O-RGV (Overhead Rail Guided Vehicle) by Singular Logistics is an automated transport system that runs overhead for the movement of light loads of up to 100 kg in boxes of any dimension.

The system is based on the FLEXITRACK overhead rail, manufactured with standard IPE steel profiles, more cost-effective than the aluminium typically used in this type of system, and powered at 48V DC with no electrical hazard. Crossings and intersections are handled by static switches with no moving parts or sensors, significantly reducing maintenance requirements. Vehicles running on this rail feature decentralised autonomous control: each unit holds the complete circuit map, communicates with the others via WiFi, and selects in real time the most efficient route based on current traffic and active requests. The system is 100% parameterisable, requires no application-specific programming and operates 24/7 without batteries.

In its standard version, SL-100 vehicles incorporate a conveyor belt or motorised rollers to automate loading and unloading at stations, where they integrate with roller tables, conveyors, dynamic shelving or chutes to complete the operation. The system is available in front or side loading configuration. The front loading configuration allows the drive through functionality, whereby the vehicle loads and unloads without stopping as it passes through the station.

Running overhead, the system reclaims productive floor space in the plant, eliminating interference between load flows and ground-level traffic. Its modular design allows the installation to scale progressively, adding vehicles or extending routes as demand grows, without reprogramming.
