Optimized Last-Mile Delivery (SENDA) - ALERCE

Libra is an algorithm developed by the University of Zaragoza (UNIZAR) for the software company Alerce, integrated in Alerce Group. It enhances the performance of SENDA, Alerce’s leading application for last-mile route optimization in the courier sector. SENDA’s geocoding capabilities already leveraged proprietary algorithms, supported by external GIS systems, as well as assignment engines, route optimization tools, and real-time monitoring. With the integration of the new algorithm - internationally awarded-, the system now solves the complex challenge of reassigning customers between delivery zones. This reallocation process is completed in a matter of seconds, balancing workloads across zones, reducing delivery errors, and significantly lowering operational costs. SENDA is a high-performance route planning solution tailored for complex logistics environments. It features a powerful calculation engine capable of managing hundreds of thousands of daily delivery and pickup services with exceptional accuracy and adaptability. Its robust integration capabilities make SENDA a flexible and scalable tool, ideal for supporting business growth. The Libra algorithm integrated into SENDA was developed by the Numerical Analysis, Optimization and Applications Research Group at the IUMA Institute of UNIZAR. It was awarded second place in the ALIO Prize for Excellence in the Practice of Operations Research, granted by the Latin-Iberoamerican Association of Operations Research.

Cold chain monitoring and geolocation - WEMOB

Thanks to seamless integration with various thermography systems on the market and the WeCold / WeDrive module, companies can manage and remotely control all refrigeration parameters in a secure, bidirectional manner. Temperature and location data are monitored and recorded in real time, with the automatic generation of reports and graphs, useful for both customers and regulatory audits. Additionally, smart alerts are triggered in real time in the event of any temperature deviations, reducing risks and potential losses. The system is fully compatible with calibrated digital probes, certified data loggers, refrigeration units and multiple positioning and communication networks (GPS + Galileo, 4G, LTE, 3G, 2G-GPRS, etc.)
