Element Logic adds the new R5 Pro and R5+ Pro robots to its portfolio
The new R5 Pro and R5+ Pro robots launched by AutoStore are designed to improve large-scale operations, freeing up warehouse space, increasing productivity and reducing costs
Element Logic, AutoStore's first and largest integrator, has expanded its product portfolio with the addition of the new R5 Pro and R5+ Pro robots, from the R5 series, recently launched on the market by AutoStore. The new robots are designed to optimize large-scale operations, freeing up space for more products in the warehouse, increasing productivity and reducing costs.
The new robots are especially suitable for large e-commerce operations, a sector in which there is a growing demand for high-performance systems. Also for all those companies that carry out large-scale multi-shift operations.
Main features of the R5 Pro and R5+ Pro robots
Fast charge:
The main improvement is found in the lithium titanate oxide (LTO) batteries, which allow for even faster charging capacity. With a recharge time of just 7 minutes, the robots can work for 180 minutes. This shorter charging time required significantly increases the availability of each robot.
Higher productivity:
Incorporating the R5 Pro into large AutoStore systems allows the number of robots needed on the same network to be reduced by up to 15%, compared to using the R5 robot. This results in more efficient routing and greater system efficiency.
Space optimization:
The adoption of LTO batteries in the new R5 Pro reduces the number of chargers required, thereby increasing the storage capacity on the AutoStore system grid.
Energy optimization:
Although AutoStore robots already consume little energy, the R5 Pro are capable of reducing consumption even further thanks to their fast charging and lower weight per robot. During peak hours, when power consumption peaks, the R5 Pro dramatically reduces its consumption due to fewer chargers and more efficient batteries.
