Element Logic joins ALDEFE as a collaborator to boost refrigeration automation

Members will have access to special economic conditions to automate their warehousing and order preparation processes

Element Logic, a specialist in intralogistics and warehouse automation, has joined ALDEFE in an agreement that strengthens the association's role as a gateway to solutions for improving the competitiveness and profitability of cold storage facilities. ALDEFE member companies will have access to special pricing on intralogistics automation projects developed by Element Logic, designed to improve operational efficiency and reliability in temperature-controlled environments. As part of its offering for this sector, Element Logic has expanded its portfolio with the Multi-Temperature Solution for AutoStore, a specific solution for facilities that combine frozen and chilled products. This solution integrates, within a single system, freezing zones at -25°C and chilled areas up to +6°C, maintaining picking stations at more stable temperatures. This allows picking to be carried out outside of frozen areas, reducing the need for rotations and downtime associated with working at low temperatures, with a direct impact on ergonomics, productivity, and energy consumption. This new solution addresses some of the main challenges facing the cold storage industry. On the one hand, it reduces the operational complexity of working with separate facilities for freezing and refrigeration. On the other, it improves ergonomics and workflow continuity by preventing operators from preparing orders in extremely cold conditions. All of this translates into increased productivity and reduced downtime associated with shift changes and operational stoppages.
