Element Logic will design and implement AutoStore in one of the six warehouses that have the largest DIY distribution network in the Canary Islands in the Güímar Industrial Park.

Element Logic, a specialist in warehouse automation and robotization with more than 200 installations throughout Europe, will automate the logistics center of MiBricolaje.com, the largest DIY distribution network in the Canary Islands. Element Logic will design and implement AutoStore, the fastest density storage and order preparation system per square meter on the market, in one of the six warehouses that the wholesaler has in the Güímar Industrial Park, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Both installation and commissioning are scheduled for the last quarter of the year.

In addition to saving space, this system will allow MiBricolaje.com to increase its speed and efficiency in preparing orders, multiplying its picking efficiency by ten and reducing any type of error to almost zero. In this way, the company will improve the quality of the service and will distribute more quickly to the more than 600 hardware stores and businesses it supplies on the eight islands.

The newly built warehouse has a surface area of 5,500 m2. Element Logic has designed a solution that will include 10,000 buckets and provide a useful storage volume of 750,000 liters in just 327 m2, including two carousel ports and seven R5 robots. This unbeatable compaction of the stock will allow MiBricolaje.com to allocate the remaining more than 5,000 m2 to conventional storage of large-scale stock, consolidation areas for small and large volume orders, packaging areas and free areas for the circulation of the different equipment. warehouse.

The implementation of Element Logic's AutoStore system will mean a true digital transformation for MiBricolaje.com, which will lay the foundations for its future growth. The scalability offered by this technological solution will allow the company to expand its capacity, both static and dynamic, as the business evolves.
