SACMI Intralogistics automates internal factory flow, from raw material intake to dispatch: automated guided vehicles (AGV/LGV), high-bay automated warehouses, 4-Way Shuttle systems, and the software platform that governs them all — with machine vision, artificial intelligence and real-time pallet traceability.

The automated warehouses are rack-clad: the racking structure itself supports the building, with no pre-existing hall. That means more height and more pallet density on the same plot. SACMI has deployed one in its own factory in Imola, running 24/7 and integrated with the warehouse management system.

A single team owns the engineering, the integration with the customer's WMS and the commissioning — deployed progressively, on plants that keep producing, without stopping the factory. Behind it, SACMI: €1,728M in 2024 revenue, a presence in over 25 countries, and the S.P.A.C.E. service network covering the system's full life cycle.
