The machinery access control system prevents the operation of forklifts and other industrial vehicles until the driver is identified and their authorization is verified. Identification is performed using a personal RFID card and a reader installed on the vehicle. When the card is presented, the system checks the operator's associated permissions. If the authorization is valid, the equipment can be used. If not, the machine remains locked. Permissions can be configured for a specific vehicle or a vehicle family, allowing for the definition of which equipment each operator can use within the facility. The system also allows for monitoring the validity of driver's licenses and health certificates, so that an authorization can automatically become invalid when either of these documents expires. Furthermore, permissions can be established by zone, restricting the use of certain vehicles or operators to specific areas of the facility. The solution includes different types of cards, such as user, maintenance, immobilization, and release cards, to adapt access control to various operational needs. This system helps prevent unauthorized personnel from using industrial machinery and provides more precise control over who can drive each vehicle, under what conditions, and in which areas. It can be complemented with Fleet Management and the Vehicle Condition Checklist system to further enhance control over drivers, permits, and usage conditions.
