TOURON optimizes its new warehouse with a customized solution from AR Racking

TOURON, the exclusive distributor for Spain and Portugal of Mercury marine engines, Quicksilver, Bayliner, and Navan boats, Talamex and Besto nautical accessories, and genuine Mercury and Quicksilver spare parts, has entrusted AR Racking with the complete outfitting of its new logistics warehouse in Torrejón de Ardoz (Madrid). The installation, completed in record time, reinforces TOURON's storage capacity and ensures more efficient, secure operations tailored to the specific needs of its products. The solution installed by AR Racking, based on a pallet racking system with specialized shelving, allows for the storage of up to 4,767 units, including boat engines, metal containers, and pallets of various sizes. The structure, with 8,500 mm high racks and both vertical and horizontal picking levels accessible via electro-welded grates, has been designed to facilitate both storage and order picking in a highly specialized logistics environment. With a delivery time of just three weeks and assembly completed in four, the installation was completed strictly on schedule, without disrupting the client's operations. “The AR PAL solution has allowed us to offer TOURON a versatile, robust, and functional structure, perfectly adapted to its product catalog and the dynamic nature of its warehouse,” explains Alfonso Peña, AR Racking's sales representative for the central region. Thanks to this project, TOURON not only gains operational capacity but also strengthens its ability to respond quickly to the demands of its customers in the nautical sector.
