    2. Optimized Last-Mile Delivery (SENDA) - ALERCE

Optimized Last-Mile Delivery (SENDA) - ALERCE

Libra is an algorithm developed by the University of Zaragoza (UNIZAR) for the software company Alerce, integrated in Alerce Group. It enhances the performance of SENDA, Alerce’s leading application for last-mile route optimization in the courier sector. SENDA’s geocoding capabilities already leveraged proprietary algorithms, supported by external GIS systems, as well as assignment engines, route optimization tools, and real-time monitoring. With the integration of the new algorithm - internationally awarded-, the system now solves the complex challenge of reassigning customers between delivery zones. This reallocation process is completed in a matter of seconds, balancing workloads across zones, reducing delivery errors, and significantly lowering operational costs. SENDA is a high-performance route planning solution tailored for complex logistics environments. It features a powerful calculation engine capable of managing hundreds of thousands of daily delivery and pickup services with exceptional accuracy and adaptability. Its robust integration capabilities make SENDA a flexible and scalable tool, ideal for supporting business growth. The Libra algorithm integrated into SENDA was developed by the Numerical Analysis, Optimization and Applications Research Group at the IUMA Institute of UNIZAR. It was awarded second place in the ALIO Prize for Excellence in the Practice of Operations Research, granted by the Latin-Iberoamerican Association of Operations Research.

Plastic boxes EUROBOX ⎥ Automatic Warehouse - New Design

The European-sized 600 x 400 mm plastic boxes with reinforced bases are ideal for use in automated warehouses. - Equipped with slots for inserting hinged lids and safety clips. - Open handle and smooth interior. - Special dotted area for adhesive labels. - Ribbed base with smooth perimeter for minimal deformation of the bottom, easy access on conveyor belts. Ideal for automated systems. Maximum flexion of the box bottom of 5 mm. (parameters valid for longitudinal load storage, evenly distributed and a constant ambient temperature of 23ºC). - Rounded corner design: minimises impact breakage and speeds up box transit on conveyor belts. - Available in a version with drainage holes on the side perimeter in accordance with FM Global regulations (technical sheet 8-34) for fire risk prevention in automated warehouses.

    4. Projection Picking Systen

      Projection Picking Systen

A Projection Picking System (PPS) is a visual guidance solution that uses projectors to display work instructions directly onto picking locations, containers, or products, making picking, assembly, and sorting operations faster and more efficient. The system integrates with the warehouse management software (WMS/WCS), receives work orders, and projects information such as the product location, required quantity, arrows, colors, or symbols to guide operators through each task. Once the operation is completed, it can be confirmed using sensors, cameras, barcode scanners, or push buttons, with the data automatically sent back to the management system. Key benefits of a Projection Picking System include increased productivity, reduced picking errors, faster operator training, and the ability to integrate sensors for Poka-Yoke functions and automatic process validation.

    7. RMS – Resource Management System

      RMS – Resource Management System

Generix Resource Management As operational supply chain disruptions become more commonplace, the ability to anticipate and adapt quickly during execution becomes increasingly important, making careful resource management a crucial driver of performance. Logistics managers must make the best use of their resources to support their companies’ increased volume and diversity of order and product profiles. There is now an emphasis on the use of robotics and mechanized systems to increase production capacity. Another avenue offering promising logistical improvements is intelligent and automated resource management, which has the potential to significantly reduce resource costs across the board. The fact that it is “software” and not hardware keeps the investment cost low and reveals additional benefits, such as: More accurate production capacity estimates More efficient use of your resources Improved operator retention
